How to Watch the Kentucky Derby 2019 Live, RACE, Time, Date Info

The Kentucky Derby is an entire day filled with celebration, but the actual Derby event only lasts a few minutes. Once you have your dazzling Derby hat on and a refreshing mint julep in hand, it's time to turn your attention to the big race.

Last year's winning horse, Justify, crossed the finish line just two minutes, four seconds, and 20 milliseconds after the race began, so make sure your television, computer, or streaming app is set ahead of time. These are the best ways to stream and watch the 2019 Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

The Kentucky Derby will air on NBC, with coverage beginning on May 4 at 12:00 p.m. ET, with a Kentucky Derby Undercard airing on NBC Sports. Click here to find your local NBC Sports channel. Then, from 2:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. ET, tune in for the 145th Kentucky Derby on NBC. The riders will mount their horses at 6:31 p.m. and the race will officially begin at 6:50 p.m. ET. The Derby will also be available to stream on the NBC Sports App, which can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon FireTV, Roku, Xbox, Samsung, and Microsoft.
